Top ASDA Award for R&R Ice Cream

R&R has beaten off strong competition from across the frozen food sector to win the coveted ASDA Frozen Food Supplier of the Year award.

The award was announced at the recent ASDA Frozen Category Conference and received by national account manager Marcella Kain.

“We have previously won ‘Best Availability’, ‘Speed to Market’ and ‘Quality’ awards but this is the first time R&R has received the best overall supplier award,” she said. “Competition was very strong with big companies representing all the key categories such as Ready Meals, Chips, Potatoes & Vegetables, Meat, Fish & Poultry and Desserts & Ice Cream.

“We were voted the best supplier across all areas including Trading, Supply/Availability, NPD and Technical. This is an excellent commendation for our business, of which we should all feel very proud.”
