R&R long-service group amasses 160 years

A group of 9 long-serving R&R employees will each qualify for a cash award during 2009 having accumulated 160 years service with the company.

Crossgates’ sole representative is Andrew Stanley (Production) who has been with the company for 15 years.

Leeming Bar is represented by Ruben Rungien, Wayne Murray and John Edwards – all in production with 15 years service. Others celebrating 15 years from Leeming are Andy Newman and Glyn Davies in Sales, Nik Adams in Health & Safety and Richard Camplejohn in Engineering. Finally Mark Dodsworth, also in sales, is celebrating 25 years with R&R.

Each receives £345 to spend on a gift, except for Mark who qualifies for £500.

Peter Pickthall, Training & HR Director, said: “This long-service group is further proof of the success of our training and career development programmes which enable people to build worthwhile careers with us. I congratulate these colleagues on achieving such significant milestones.”
