Marketing Executive - Category Marketing

An exciting opportunity now exists within our Marketing team for a Marketing Executive.
Your main responsibility will be to support and develop Category management in order to establish R&R as category leaders by developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts.
As a qualified marketing professional with experience of working in a fast paced category or brand marketing role, you will support Category Managers, in analysing and interpreting consumer data to provide insight that can be used to develop business strategy and also commercial/marketing plans.
Project management skills are essential, likewise communication skills with the ability to brief others, chase for information and pro-actively make things happen across sales and creative teams.
You will interpret product performance and collate samples and product information for new concepts as well as existing products, by working closely with national account managers and product development. Other duties will include competitive and product trend analysis and data management.
In order to be considered for this role it is essential you have previous experience of analysing and interpreting data, possess a keen willingness to learn, have an entrepreneurial approach to business and must have passion, energy and tenacity. Pragmatic, with a can do approach, you must be pro-active and take ownership for your areas of responsibility.
You need to be commercially focused to stand out from the crowd in category and brand work and enjoy keeping one step ahead of the competition; strategic in your thinking and conscious of bottom line sales results.
